Adventure Camp PRIZES!!! I love to offer positive reinforcement to my human clients. There will be 6 levels of rewards, some of which are fun items I brought back from my recent trip to Kenya. Points can be earned by attending Summer Adventure Camps and Large Field Socials (June, July, August socials only). *Rewards will be given out at the end of the summer.
- 1 Point: Sticker with the new NoogaSitters logo (to be announced later this summer)
- 2 Points: a Kenyan beaded bracelet or pair of earrings
- 3 Points: Kenyan key chain
- 4 Points: T-shirt with the new NoogaSitters logo
- 5 Points: Kenyan leather dog collar with beads
- 6+ Points: water bottle with the new NoogaSitters logo
BASIC SKILLS REVIEW: Summer Adventure Camp starts next week with a Basic Skills Review class. The same class content will be offered three times next week, on Tuesday (the 27th) at 7:00pm, on Friday (the 30th) at 9:30am, and Saturday (July 1st) at 9:30am; each class is one hour. This class is open to any type of dog with any level of training. The class will focus on loose-leash walking, sit/down/stay, place, recall, and self-regulation. Though this class is not required in order to attend other classes this summer, these are skills that will help you and your dog be more successful in subsequent Summer Adventure Classes. The Basic Skills class will meet at the Chattanooga Valley Church of the Nazarene pavilion (2853 Chattanooga Valley Rd, Flintstone, GA 30725). The cost of the Basic Skills Review class is $30.
TRAINING 101 sign ups are also open. This is a group class that will be held for each of the five Saturdays in July, starting on July 1st. Class is from 1:30pm to 2:30pm and is held at the Chattanooga Valley Church of the Nazarene pavilion (2853 Chattanooga Valley Rd, Flintstone, GA 30725). This class focuses on basic skills and effective communication for you and your dog. Any dog that completes this class is invited to join our monthly support classes for free. The class costs $300 which includes a treat bag, training leash, and 15 foot long line. Check out our TRAINING page for more information on the class.
