And lastly, we’ll continue to offer our new Large Field Socials to increase your dog’s social skills. We are so excited to spend time together this summer!!!
Training 101

The purpose of the Training 101 class is to teach your dog basic skills that will help them to be a successful member of your family. We also focus on giving you basic training skills that help you communicate effectively with your dog. In this class we work on basic cues, self-regulation, recall, and loose-leash walking. For more detailed information, click on the Training page of our website. This class takes place over the course of five weeks; we will meet on Saturdays from 1:30 to 2:30pm starting on July 1st. The cost of this class is $300 and includes a treat bag, Sidekick training leash, and 15ft. long line. To register for Training 101, click HERE.
Summer Adventure Camp

The purpose of the Summer Adventure Camp is to provide structured opportunities for you and your dog to increase your confidence in handling varying stimuli. Each week we will explore a different part of Chattanooga that will push you and your dog out of your comfort zone; by overcoming challenges, you and your dog will grow in your confidence and trust in each other. Each class will last approximately one hour and will be offered three times per week (one weekday evening, one weekday morning, and on Saturday morning). The first week will be a class to review skills that will help in future adventures; this class is HIGHLY recommended but not required. Subsequent weeks we will:
- enjoy an agility course and play enrichment games (this class also provides extra time to work on leash skills, if needed);
- take a walk in downtown Chattanooga where we will walk beside a busy street, under a loud highway, and over a grated pier;
- go out to a coffee/dessert shop where we will place an order and then let our dogs practice sitting or laying quietly beside our table while we chat;
- go for a hike on Signal Mountain where we will walk over wooden bridges, through and across a stream, and finally over a swinging bridge.
The cost of each class is $30. You can register for as many or as few of the adventures as desired. To register for Summer Adventure Camp, click HERE.
Large Field Socials

The purpose of Large Field Socials is to give your dog an opportunity to practice their social skills with other dogs in a supervised environment. Socials also provide an opportunity for you to socialize with other dog-lovers while watching your dogs run and play.
