Oh my goodness. THIS DOG. Let’s all just take a moment and look at his gorgeous face. Sometimes I would look over and be stunned all over again at how majestic he looked in all his German Shepherd glory. He just loved to be around people and was already ready to be disturbed if it meant he was going to get some pets and lovin. I couldn’t help but just hug him sometimes and one day after I knelt down to hug him, he sat up and wrapped himself around my leg like he was hugging me back. Sheesh. He loved a good ball chase in the backyard and took on the job of household protector very well. So well, in fact, that one day when we were popping popcorn, he jerked up from his nap and searched the house for what evil popping noise was threatening our safety. He was such a delight and we can’t wait for his people to travel again so we can have him back for a visit. 🙂
