Job Description (Kennel Assistant): We are looking for individuals who love dogs, are self-motivated, and have a strong work ethic. Kennel assistants are responsible for overseeing the care of our guest dogs through supervising playtime, feeding, etc. They also assist in maintaining a safe environment for them through cleaning kennels and maintaining play yards.
Qualifications:
- LOVE of dogs, care for helping dogs learn to socialize
- Comfortable around various types of dogs as well as groups of dogs
- At least 18 years old
- Offers flexible hours and shifts of up to 10 hours per week with the hope to increase hours as the business continues to grow
- Able to lift 40+ pounds, physically able to stand/walk for several hour shift
- Self-motivated and hard working
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work with others, good communication skills
- Reliable transportation
- Prefer prior experience working with multiple dogs in group settings
Benefits:
- Pay: $10/hour during training, $15/hour once working without supervision
- Flexible schedule between hours of 8:00am and 9:00pm, weekdays, weekends, holidays (up to 10 hours per week)

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage with dogs in a supportive manner during social play time (no more than 12 dogs/worker)
- Basic outdoor tasks (scooping poop, cleaning water bowls, play yard maintenance)
- Basic indoor tasks (sanitizing crates, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, etc.)
- Feed dogs and give medication, as needed
- Communicate with supervisor regarding needs of dogs
- Engage with owners during drop-off and pick-ups of their dogs
