We’re so excited to share with you our new and improved NoogaSitters’ branding. We joined forces with Jeff Muthondu who designed our logo and helped us process the branding side of our business. We wanted a logo that made it obvious that we worked with dogs. We also desired to show the joyful and playful side of working with these awesome pets. Since both of us have a short-haired St. Bernard, it seemed an obvious choice to make that breed the dog of our logo.
When we thought about how we want to be represented as a company, we focused on what adjectives we wanted our clients to feel when they worked with us. As far as colors, we knew we wanted green to be included since it is both of our favorite color. The rest of the colors were intentionally chosen to represent what we value. Jeff chose colors to evoke certain feelings to represent us and our business. He says that green is gentle and lively, bringing a connection with nature and vitality. He picked brown to give a feeling of warmth, security, and earthiness. The dark grey shows professionalism, calmness, and trustworthiness. We hope that NoogaSitters has earned that reputation from you.
In addition to our logo, we’ve also changed our tagline to “supporting dogs and their families”. Our business has grown from only offering in-home boarding to including training classes and Large Field Socials. We hope to continue to expand and offer more activities that involve both you and your dogs to help us grow as a community of dog-lovers. We love caring for your dogs when you aren’t able to but have come to enjoy spending time with you as well.
